Participants must:

• Be registered and accepted to FormulaTech Hacks.
• Work in teams of 2-4.
• Begin building their project during the hackathon. Planning and brainstorming beforehand is okay, but projects should not be substantially completed before the event.
• Follow the University of Waterloo and FormulaTech Hacks Code of Conduct.
• Respect other hackers, organizers, mentors, sponsors, and volunteers.
• Submit their project to Devpost before the announced deadline.
• Disclose any major pre-existing code, tools, or assets used in their project.
• Be present for judging to be eligible for prizes.

AI tools are allowed unless a specific prize category states otherwise.

Organizers reserve the right to disqualify submissions that violate the rules, Code of Conduct, or spirit of the hackathon.
